Symbol 9:

There can be a lot in this life that takes an individual's Power. From the extreme detriment of becoming a victim, the debilitation of chronic illness, to the frustration of witnessing injustice.

For those, who have been raised with emotional, sexual or physical abuse, Power is often an unknown element in their human experience. Feelings of unworthiness or complete denial of any feelings generally arise from a sense of powerlessness. Of course, what appears to be the opposite of Powerlessness exists in our dysfunctional society in those that yield & take Power through manipulation, narcissism, bullying and control. Often a child who has been a victim can grow to claim this false Power.

Both extremes are rooted in the same place of Fears and Lies.

As we become aware of the Fears/Lies and work in the previous Symbol to reclaim our Soul, we make room for our True Power to arise.

Our True Power is the Energy we need to fuel the Desires of our lives and live fully the highest potential of our Authentic Selves. True Power from the Light & Love that dwells within us is ours to claim and for no one else.

This Power card often gets lost beneath the other cards, yet when it is ready it will take the lead. Just like you!!! I say this because while you are busy doing the work, journeying around the Circle, Healing, you are completely unaware that your Power is building, returning beneath the surface until one moment there it is. You feel it, you understand it, you claim it…... you own it!!! And I promise you this will be a most life changing moment for you. I am so excited for you. When you find your Power, carry it with you everywhere, into every situation, every relationship and it will continue to grow.

Often a Staff/Walking Stick is made as a Symbolic reference to one coming into their true Power if that feels like something to which you would resonate. However, choosing a Crystal/Rock/Shell or absolutely anything can be used as a Symbolic representation if you feel you would like one. This is sometimes useful and powerful for those who have worked hard to reclaim their own person power. You may use or carry it for the rest of your life or just until you fully integrated your own Beautiful Power and no longer need the symbolic support.

If this card has shown up in a reading it may be indicating where the use of Power could shed some light on a situation. This is specifically relevant when aligned with another card. How could more or less Power influence the outcome you desire?

The Power card urges you to use your imagination and dream who you know you are into your reality. The Power Symbol and the Star Self Symbol are Aligned. They are the strongest yet subtlest Symbols around the Circle. You may not notice them. However you will know when they notice you.

This card tells you to stand up straight and strong and truly believe in yourself.
